Job Summary

This role involves managing large-scale commercial/life science projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience running projects through the full project life cycle, with a strong technical knowledge base and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, ensuring effective stakeholder management and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client management and consultation
  • Project planning/feasibility studies
  • Design management and value engineering
  • Procurement of construction services
  • Delivery of construction services
  • Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent
  • Commissioning and post contract duties for handover
  • Oversight and delivery of the project

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-15 years of experience in managing commercial medium to high-rise/life science projects
  • Proven knowledge of contract administration and base build construction
  • Experience managing general conditions of contract such as AS4902
  • Sound understanding of overall construction programs and plans
  • Able to identify key client and builder obligations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
