Project Engineer Job Description

A highly respected builder seeks a Project Engineer to join their team on a Western Sydney project.

The successful candidate will have experience working on large-scale projects and be able to assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.
  • Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues.
  • Coordinate with team members to complete tasks.
  • Track expenses and provide regular updates.
  • Identify and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer on large-scale projects.
  • Experience working for a Tier 1, 2, or 3 Builder.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
  • Reliable references.
  • Must already be in Australia to be considered.
  • Experience with commercial projects within Australia.
