Project Manager - Commercial High Rise

We are seeking an experienced project manager to manage the delivery of large-scale commercial and life science projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both head contractor and consultancy/client-side environments, with a strong understanding of contract administration and base-build construction.

You will be involved in detailed design, value engineering, tender documents, advising and appointing consultants and the head contractor, project management and superintendent duties during delivery.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Client management and consultation
  • Project planning and feasibility studies
  • Design management and value engineering
  • Procurement of construction services
  • Delivery of construction services
  • Cost control, cost reporting and superintendent duties
  • Commissioning and post-contract duties for handover
  • Oversight and delivery of the project

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–15+ years managing commercial medium to high-rise / life science projects
  • Proven knowledge of contract administration and base-build construction
  • Experience managing general conditions of contract such as AS4902
  • Strong understanding of overall construction programmes and plans
  • Able to identify key client and builder obligations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
