We are seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead project teams and ensure timely construction documentation from post-DA approval to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading large-scale Class 2 multi-residential projects through to construction.
  • Ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years post-graduate experience within Architecture, including a minimum of 5+ years local experience is essential – ideally registered.
  • Strong competency in Revit construction documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience in Class 2 multi-residential projects - must be currently leading your own projects.
  • Have strong understanding of the Design and Building Practitioner Regulation (DBP), Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Full working visa or residency status and current local experience is essential for this role.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, resource allocation, and team performance to maintain project timelines and quality.

Liaising with internal management for approvals and sign-offs at key milestones. Attend on-site meetings, liaising with builders, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Ensuring strict adherence to building regulations, planning controls, and industry standards. Conduct quality checks at each stage, applying your expertise in construction detailing.

Regularly reviewing design work to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
