Job Title: HVAC Service Manager

As a seasoned HVAC Technician Supervisor, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive plans that identify key success factors, optimal timing for design and procurement deliverables, and establish common work breakdown structures.
  • Provide leadership by creating organizational structures and processes necessary to effectively execute HVAC services, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Oversee the execution of HVAC services, ensuring they meet contract requirements, design specifications, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.
  • Continuously evaluate progress and advise on issues, potential impacts, risks, and cost influencing factors of ongoing scope.
  • Implement safety protocols by overseeing the implementation of safety orientations, indoctrinations, and gang box meetings, providing coaching to improve safety practices among the crew.
  • Monitor crew organization and compliance by reviewing the organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage regulations.
  • Manage costs and budgets by reviewing and monitoring the cost and man-hour budget for the HVAC installation process, making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial limits.
  • Develop resource plans to ensure staffing, facilities, equipment, and tools are allocated and used effectively to meet project needs.
  • Maintain quality control by implementing measures to ensure installations and repairs meet or exceed set standards.
  • Facilitate communication by ensuring clear and consistent communication within the team and with other stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
