Job Title

A dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse is sought to join our multidisciplinary team in providing comprehensive palliative care across acute, community, and residential aged care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality palliative nursing care to patients in hospital, home, and residential aged care settings.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care that supports patients and their families through end-of-life care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster and cover day shifts on weekends as required.
  • Engage in professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices in palliative care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in palliative care or a passion for working in this field.
  • Dedication to trauma-informed and culturally safe care practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
