About Us

We're seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Palliative Care team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives, providing comfort and dignity during challenging times.

The Specialist Palliative Care Service is dedicated to delivering exceptional care across hospital, home, and residential settings. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work collaboratively to support patients and their families through end-of-life care, including bereavement support and advanced care planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive palliative nursing care in various settings, prioritizing patient-centered care and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Care for patients referred to the consultation service, as well as those in their homes or residential aged care facilities, ensuring seamless coordination and compassion.
  • Participate in intake and triage functions, working closely with the team to identify and address patients' needs.
Requirements:
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel locally.
  • Dedication to trauma-informed and culturally safe care practices.
  • Experience in or passion for palliative care, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
