Procurement Operations Role

We are seeking a skilled individual to implement procurement infrastructure solutions, ensuring compliance with company policies and collaborating with sourcing teams to establish complex procurement activities.

This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office at least three days a week, offering opportunities for professional development and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve detailed issues with vendors regarding price, delivery, and terms to maintain relationships.
  • Review purchasing transactions to recommend incremental sourcing activity, contract compliance, and pricing improvement opportunities.
  • Work with colleagues and suppliers to identify, document, analyze, and resolve source-to-pay-related issues.
  • Increase spend under management by managing category strategy, tail spend, and compliance using category playbooks and rule engines.
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Management - Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier risks and compliance issues.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience in global sourcing, procurement processes, and supplier engagement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Commercial acumen—experience in the financial sector is beneficial.
  • Experience in data analysis and financial cost model development.
  • Energetic and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team and having autonomy.
  • Strong customer-focus with proven ability in influencing, communicating, and negotiating.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong domain knowledge and experience in global sourcing and procurement.
  • Experience using technology platforms such as Oracle and Qlik Sense.
  • Experience working across multiple countries is advantageous.
