**Procurement Specialist Role**

This role supports the Procurement and Sourcing Lead in sourcing and procuring local contractors, with a focus on local and indigenous engagement. Key responsibilities include planning, collaboration, and delivery of procurement activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support contractors from submission to onboarding.
  • Provide technical support to contractors.
  • Support the Administration & Governance and HSSEQ Team in contractor onboarding processes.

**Operational Activities:**

  • Support contractors in procurement processes.
  • Assist the Procurement and Sourcing lead with end-to-end procurement activities.
  • Schedule and assist in organising debriefs.
  • Source contractors in line with the gap analysis.

**Reporting Requirements:**

  • Provide ad hoc reporting of procurement statistics/status.
  • Assist in preparing procurement data for reports.

**Stakeholder Management:**

  • Buil relationships with contractors, internal team, and co-contract peers.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

**Requirements:**

  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of local and indigenous engagement.
  • Organised, proactive approach to procurement activities.
