Job Opportunity: Procurement Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Procurement Operations Specialist. As a key member of our Global Sourcing & Procurement Team, you will play a critical role in implementing infrastructure solutions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and working with colleagues to maintain complex procurement activities.

As a Procurement Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include resolving issues with vendors, reviewing purchasing transactions, working with suppliers to identify and resolve source-to-pay related issues, and increasing spend under management through category strategy and rule engines.

You will also be responsible for monitoring procurement performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Additionally, you will assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier risks and compliance issues.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years' experience in global sourcing, procurement processes, and supplier engagement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Commercial acumen—experience in the financial sector is a plus
  • Experienced in data analysis and financial cost model development
  • Energetic and self-motivated individuals enjoy not only working in a team but also having autonomy to complete their role
  • Strong customer-focus with proven ability in influencing, communicating, and negotiating
  • Proactive self-starter who is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under tight deadlines
