Procurement and Sourcing Professional

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement and materials sourcing within cross-functional collaboration environments.

Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist include:

  • Scout supplier markets, manage RFQ processes, and engage suppliers during pre-bidding, bidding, and post-bidding phases to maintain commercial competitiveness and offer validity
  • Issue RFQs to shortlisted suppliers and lead the RFQ process; evaluate proposals for major categories including material, equipment, services, and subcontractor works, and deliver commercial outcomes within defined timeframes.
  • Apply analytical skills to draw insights from data and provide commercial recommendations to stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder communication to ensure effective and compliant procurement processes
  • Manage supplier relationships and familiarise with supply markets, promoting safety, environmental, and sustainability aspects in procurement.
  • Capable of managing multiple sourcing activities simultaneously

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement Departments in multinational contexts; an Engineering and construction industry background is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering,
  • Negotiation techniques and strategies.
  • Data analysis and report writing skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office; SAP MM, Business Intelligence Software.
