The Partner Solution Architect leads the adoption of Microsoft offerings, influencing the industry-wide direction for specific architecture(s), based on analysis and differentiation with competitor products.
They drive their team in operating and optimizing complex situations for strategic customers and partners, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Anticipating and managing business and technical risks, they adapt methodology and apply governance to identify, communicate, and minimize risks.
Ensuring quality assurance standards, they calculate risks while designing and delivering solutions that meet business and IT requirements.
Applying broad business, technical, industry, and enterprise knowledge, they shape and enhance customer requirements.
Proactively using deep knowledge of Microsoft offerings, practices, products, services, solutions, and value propositions, they propose new solutions to scale across multiple customers and partners.
Creating opportunities to expand or accelerate cloud consumption, they lead partner conversations.
Leading architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization, they result in production deployment applications and increased customer usage.
Providing thought leadership, they help drive technical solution clarity, design, development, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and expanding impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision makers, and business stakeholders.
- Providing direction to TDMs and building the bridge between TDMs and BDMs.
- Uncovering, aggregating, and synthesizing data about customer/partner business, complex technical requirements, and issues.
- Addressing requirements/issues/strategies with win-win technical architecture(s) and demonstrating capability and value through design collaboration sessions.
- Acting as the voice of the partner, they drive new feedback, insights, and resources across territories.
- Identifying and directing attention to multiple, strategic opportunities aligning with revenue goals.
- Leads assistance with partner and sales teams to bring clarity to specific, complex opportunities.
- Understanding and anticipating solution area-specific market opportunities, they proactively lead initiatives to address them.
- Influencing, challenging, and supporting partners in developing scalable offerings, practices, products, and solutions.
- Maintaining active visibility in solution area-specific communities to build credibility and influence partners.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide field-based insights related to products/solutions.
