Health, Safety and Wellbeing Director

About the Role
Linfox Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead our Resources & Industrial business across multiple operations in New South Wales.
This is a key leadership role that requires a strong focus on shaping and growing our safety culture, with a emphasis on care, trust and inclusion.
The successful candidate will have experience in embedding a risk-based approach to ensure the physical and mental safety of our employees, customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans that prioritize safety and wellbeing.
- Develop and maintain a risk-based approach that identifies and mitigates every day, critical and psychosocial risks.
- Coach and mentor leaders through site visits, facilitated training and workshops to promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Develop and maintain a system that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Investigate and manage serious incidents, and provide regulatory notifications and interventions as required.
- Measure and report on performance, trends and outcomes to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in safety, health and wellbeing, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of the risks associated with the transport, warehousing and resources industry.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through education or training.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations.
- Knowledge of work health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Ability to develop and present results, plans and updates to leadership teams and customers.
