About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at Charterhouse. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support in delivering specific business unit strategic objectives, plans, management systems objectives, mitigation of safety risks and hazards, the prevention of workplace injuries, the prevention of incidents and occurrences, regulatory compliance and the promotion of a safe culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice and support in delivering specific business unit strategic objectives, plans, management systems objectives, mitigation of safety risks and hazards, the prevention of workplace injuries, the prevention of incidents and occurrences, regulatory compliance and the promotion of a safe culture.
- Supporting safety strategy, capability uplift and ways of improving safety across the business and Suppliers
- Medium complexity in developing and optimising safety performance
- Demonstrating effective support, influence and drive in establishing and maintaining positive ongoing working relationships with multiple stakeholders across multiple business divisions
- Conducting investigations as a lead investigator and or participating in large multidisciplinary investigations as requested
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety or Diploma of Occupational Health & Safety
- High level of interpersonal skills including team, relationship building & conflict resolution
- A working knowledge of the NSW Government OHS Management System Guidelines
- Working knowledge of the WHS Act, WHS Regulations and associated Codes of Practice and Australian Standards
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills
