Telecommunications Technical Specialist
Job Description:This is a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality telecommunications services across Southern NSW and Murrumbidgee Local Health Districts.
The successful applicant will provide technical support and direction for an extensive and complex network and collaborative telecommunications environment.
Responsibilities will include maintaining and developing internal innovation, business case compilation, project development, and requirements gathering and analysis within the telecommunications field.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco / Aruba networking infrastructure covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
- Knowledge in Cisco Call Manager/administration is an advantage.
- Evidence and duration of expertise through education, training, and work experience in network and/or collaboration technologies.
- Ability to demonstrate breadth of experience, depth of knowledge, and interpersonal skills to apply that knowledge.
- Experience in writing or contributing to policy, procedures, and local ICT standards.
