Procurement Leadership Position

The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) is a key leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the Procurement function at Cenitex. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in procurement, governance, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Cenitex's business objectives and priorities.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on procurement-related matters, including contract management, category management, and strategic sourcing.
- Lead the procurement team and cross-functional working groups to deliver high-performance outcomes on cost, service, and quality.
- Oversee the management of commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and supply chain risks to minimize negative impacts on organizational objectives.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Cenitex Board, Audit, Risk, and ESG Committees, and the Whole of Victorian Government (Wo VG) CPO forum.
- 10+ years of professional industry experience in procurement, governance, or a related field.
- Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
- Membership in a professional accredited organization, such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), is highly desirable.
