Hanes Brands Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Leadership Position to join our team as the Expense Accounting Lead. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3 Expense Accountants and oversee the timely completion of month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Directly support forecasting and budgeting, and liaise with external audit.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Manage accounting for designated areas of the P&L and balance sheet, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an accounting role within a large corporate environment or professional practice.
  • CA or CPA qualified, with advanced stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with a large accounting system, preferably JD Edwards.
  • Ability to problem-solve and analyze complex data, with a critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
