Civil Engineer

This role involves applying engineering expertise to various projects across NSW.

The successful candidate will have diverse tasks, offering valuable experience and exposure to design management, engineering assessment, project management, stakeholder management, and construction phase tasks.

This position supports the delivery of land development and infrastructure related projects from initiation through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks for project delivery, including design and project management.
  • Prepare civil engineering documentation, including reports, estimates, specifications, tender documents, programs, and schedules.
  • Apply civil engineering knowledge to support engineering projects related to land development and infrastructure.
  • Conduct site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects, adhering to safety protocols and government standards.
  • Assist in reviewing drawings and submittals, respond to requests for information, prepare observation reports, and perform other contract administration tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in civil engineering, project management, and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in time management and organisational skills, including resource management and delegation.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development.
