Vessel Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Vessel Engineer to join our team on a full-time or part-time, seasonal contract. This position will involve working a lifestyle roster with casual opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily engine and machinery checks on assigned vessels.
- Assist the Master with the management and safe operations of the vessel in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Diagnose system problems as and when they occur.
- Ensure all maintenance requirements and ramifications are recorded.
- Coordinate and maintain effective vessel preventative maintenance programs.
- Accurately maintain logs and work orders through to job completion and sign off.
- Liaise and co-ordinate servicing and repairs with shore support as required.
- Assist with securing vessels at the various marinas and island jetties.
- Be involved in safety drill practices as required by the Master.
- Assist with guest experience duties including meeting and greeting of guests.
