Overview


The Parliamentary Service is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workplace Relations Professional to join its Corporate Operations Branch, Legal and Conduct Section.



About the role


This exciting opportunity is for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in workplace relations, performance management, and conduct. You will be responsible for providing strategic advice on employment issues, complex workplace relations matters, and relevant legislation. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of innovative strategies to improve departmental outcomes.



Key responsibilities


• Provide expert advice on employment law, workplace relations, and industrial instruments


• Represent the department in dealings with unions and other stakeholders


• Prepare materials to assist with representation at tribunals and external jurisdictions


• Assist with the development and implementation of enterprise agreements, HR policies, and employment contracts


• Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture


• Develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationships

Salary


The salary range for this position is $94,259 - $105,941 per annum.
