As a key leader within the People and Culture Branch of Canberra Health Services (CHS), the Senior Director, Industrial will oversee the delivery of strategically aligned industrial relations solutions while collaborating with leaders across CHS, unions, and the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and experience in leading industrial relations teams. They will be responsible for ensuring that the industrial framework in CHS is responsive to the organization's needs while having regard to the interests of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement industrial relations strategies to support the delivery of high-quality, effective, person-centred care
  • Collaborate with leaders across CHS, unions, and CMTEDD to ensure the industrial framework is responsive to the organization's needs
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR team on industrial relations matters
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
