Job Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team based at our retirement home. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to our residents, ensuring they live safely and comfortably in their homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning, meal preparation, and housekeeping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
  • Domestic support, including laundry, cooking, cleaning, and household tasks
  • Offering friendly social support and transport to appointments, shopping, or community outings
  • Observing and reporting changes, ensuring care plans are up-to-date, keeping accurate records, and reporting health changes to our team

You will be working independently in the field to deliver high-quality care, making a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Requirements
  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
  • A current driver's licence
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes
  • Competent in the use of a Smartphone
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • A current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain
