About this Role:
Our organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our community team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient-centred care to patients with progressive neurological conditions and palliative needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist palliative medicine support to ensure provision of compassionate patient-centred care
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
- Participate in on-call rosters and provide inpatient ward cover as required
Requirements:
- Eligibility for registration as a specialist in Australia (pending specialist registration considered)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or the Australian Chapter of Palliative Medicine or equivalent (pending Fellowships considered)
- Demonstrated and ongoing entitlement to work in Australia
About Our Organization:
We are a 32-bed public hospital providing a range of inpatient, community, and ambulatory services for progressive neurological conditions and palliative care. Our Statewide Progressive Neurological Disease service offers a range of multidisciplinary assessment and management services for people with diagnosed PND.
