Palliative Care Specialist

As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of evidence-based palliative medicine to patients and families. This involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for symptom management, coordination of care, complex discharge planning, and end-of-life care management.
About the Role:- You will oversee the clinical service delivery to patients and families as directed by the Director of Palliative Medicine
- Work in an integrated model across 4 service arms: consult; inpatient, ambulatory, and community
- Provide compassionate and competent care to all patients, working within a framework that prioritizes patient-centered care
- MBBS or equivalent and postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Medicine or related specialty
- Unconditional registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
- Strong background in Palliative Medicine, with experience in multidisciplinary care delivery
- Ability to work an on-call rotating roster, including weekends
