Job Title: Retail Supervisor Assistant

Job Description

The role of the Assistant Retail Supervisor is to provide support to the Retail Supervisor in all aspects of a retail operation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring sound business practices are adhered to and sales targets are achieved.

  • Work closely with the Retail Supervisor to monitor pricing, visual merchandising, promotional events and selling techniques to ensure profitability is maintained and improved
  • Provide assistance to team members in handling customer complaints/enquiries and maintain effective communication channels within direct team, regional support functions and external stakeholders
  • Identify issues and opportunities based on selling and customer feedback and implement solutions to improve performance
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate will require strong problem-solving and influencing skills. The ability to deliver a high level of customer service and exceed customer expectations is essential. Experience in retail management (or hospitality management) including experience in coaching and mentoring people is also required.

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring people
  • Ability to use a retail business systems, POS and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
