As a Port Delivery Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Shore Excursions department. This involves overseeing the delivery of services, managing a team, and coordinating logistics to meet the needs of our customers.

You will be responsible for guaranteeing proper resources are allocated to deliver operations and managing staffing levels accordingly. Additionally, you will develop and maintain continuous communication with cruise ships and internal/external stakeholders, including Port Authorities.

Key responsibilities include planning and booking shore excursions at various ports in Australia, working closely with the Port Delivery Team Manager to maintain good commercial relationships with Cruise Lines, and overseeing operational incidents to ensure minimal impact on service delivery.

About You:

  • High capacity to manage a team to deliver results.
  • Able to use MS Office tools such as Excel, Teams, One Note & Outlook to high standards.
  • Comfortable leading change and resilient to ambiguity or setbacks.
  • Must be available to work on weekends and/or holidays if required.
  • Solve problems independently and/or make suggestions how to improve ways of working and drive our digital culture.
  • Agility to juggle strategic priorities/projects whilst delivering day-to-day operational logistics.
  • A genuinely helpful, flexible, and professional personality.
  • Previous experience in travel/tourism and/or cruise ships is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English, plus fluency in other languages would be advantageous.
