Senior Port Operations Team Leader

This role requires a team leader with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to oversee the delivery of services at our port operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage a team, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
In this position, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the proper level of resources to deliver operations and manage staffing accordingly to the needs of each operation.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining continuous communication with cruise ships and both internal and external stakeholders, including Port Authorities.
Additionally, you will work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure a good commercial relationship with Cruise Lines by providing relevant feedback picked up during operation.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing operations incidents in the Port(s) and reviewing that there is no impact in the delivery of the operation.
We are looking for someone who can adapt quickly to new situations, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of direct reports to deliver efficient and effective processes at the ports (turnaround)
- Guarantee proper level of resources to deliver operations and manage staffing accordingly to the needs of each operation
- Develop and maintain continuous communication with cruise ships and both internal and external stakeholders, including Port Authorities
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure a good commercial relationship with Cruise Lines
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of leading teams and achieving results
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Familiarity with port operations or a similar industry
