Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to assist in the triage of referrals and complaints involving suspected employee misconduct and alleged corrupt conduct.

  • Develop effective management strategies for addressing these matters.
  • Refer cases to the Crime and Corruption Commission, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage public interest disclosures submitted under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 in accordance with legislative requirements and departmental policies.
  • Contribute to data reporting on public interest disclosures, aligning with the department's legislative obligations to the Queensland Ombudsman.
  • Monitor matters being handled by operational areas to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain Professional Standards' records and case/file management systems.
  • Provide core business statistic reports for the Office of the Minister and Director-General within tight timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
  • High level of organisation and time management skills are necessary.
