System Oversight Specialist

  • Manage and control real-time power transmission systems to ensure optimal functionality and availability.
  • Detect and resolve system issues to prevent downtime and optimise system processes.

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of complex operational technology environments, energy management systems (EMS), and SCADA systems. As a System Oversight Specialist, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting technical experts, developing strategies and high-level system configurations to manage cognitive overload for real-time operators, and aligning with organisational objectives.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, experience in real-time control systems, and knowledge of EMS and SCADA systems. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Our team operates in Brisbane, within our Operational & Service Delivery division, and reports directly to the Manager of Real Time Network Operations Enablement.
