Senior SEO Specialist

We are seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to lead our client's search engine optimisation strategy, ensuring visibility and competitiveness in an evolving search landscape.

As a key member of our team, you will blend deep technical expertise with strategic foresight, leveraging advancements in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging search formats like voice, visual, and generative AI-driven results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SEO strategy – Own and evolve the search roadmap in line with brand goals and emerging trends.
  • Stay ahead of AI search – Anticipate and adapt to AI-driven changes (SGE, LLMs, multimodal search).
  • Optimise everything – From metadata and site architecture to landing pages, drive organic discovery and conversions.
  • Master technical SEO – Audit, troubleshoot, and guide dev teams on site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and crawlability.
  • Build authority – Develop backlink strategies and partnerships to strengthen domain authority.
  • Manage to targets – Define, monitor, and report on SEO KPIs, taking proactive action when needed.
  • Turn data into action – Use GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools to inform strategic decisions.

About You

  • Technically Minded – 5+ years of SEO experience on enterprise or high-profile brand sites.
  • Proven Track Record – Demonstrated success delivering against SEO performance targets.
  • Future-Focused – Ability to adapt SEO strategies to AI-driven and emerging search formats.
  • Data-Driven – Proficient in GA4, Search Console, GTM, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
  • Well-Rounded – Strong in technical SEO, content optimisation, and off-page authority building.
  • Web Savvy – Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO purposes.
  • Influential Communicator – Skilled at engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Creative Problem-Solver – Able to think strategically and innovatively to achieve goals.
