Job Title:

Senior Stormwater Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Stormwater Design Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This role contributes to creating a safe, liveable, and sustainable environment through the design of stormwater infrastructure and catchment management across various areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To complete allocated civil designs and tasks in accordance with professional engineering standards
  • To provide input into strategic documents such as reviews of environmental plans and policies
  • To prepare technical stormwater documents and provide technical expertise to stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in survey, investigation, and design of stormwater management infrastructure and cost estimates
  • Demonstrated experience in civil stormwater engineering with a focus on water sensitive urban design
  • Experience in managing financial budgets with forecasting
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
  • At least 5 years' experience with GIS packages and Microsoft Office; design experience with AutoCAD, 12D, and water engineering applications
