Job Description

As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and deploying data collection strategies, documenting implementation plans and guidelines, setting up advanced tagging solutions through custom scripts and tag management tools while ensuring data cleanliness and reliability.

We're looking for a technically minded problem solver with proven experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

You'll work closely with marketing and data specialists to support a portfolio of clients. Your role will focus on data strategy, measurement implementation, and optimizing marketing channels and user journeys. You'll help clients advance their data maturity and deliver actionable insights that drive performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being a passionate subject matter expert on digital measurement and analysis (inc. web analytics, app tracking, audience strategy) and possessing a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem, particularly Google Marketing Platform and associated technologies.
  • Helping the team identify opportunities and propose solutions to help advance our clients' digital maturity.
  • Presenting to internal teams and clients on projects, initiatives or technology updates/use cases.
  • Providing support for junior members of the team, ensuring they are progressively able to take on more complex tasks.
  • Using Google Analytics to discover insights or for reporting requirements.
  • Creating and delivering tracking plans and implementation guides.
  • Configuring and setting up Analytics & Marketing tags with Google Tag Manager.
  • Implementing tracking solutions, primarily for Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager or other platforms like Segment, Tealium.
  • Testing and validating tracking implementations.
  • Designing reporting dashboards with Looker Studio.
  • Running client measurement workshops or training sessions.
  • Consulting with client's development teams on the tracking solutions.
  • Working closely with Senior Managers and Directors to improve processes and frameworks.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CSS, HTML and JS.
  • A fluent understanding of the Google Marketing Platform, the main benefits and how to use the Google stack to the greatest advantage of clients.
  • Client-facing experience and comfort in running workshops, training and client engagements.
  • Client-centric - You'll have opportunities to get to know your clients, work closely with them, develop long-lasting relationships and add value to their business.
  • Process Improvement - You seek and implement solutions to improve and automate processes.
  • Team Collaboration - You'll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Proficiency in working with APIs and Mobile Apps for tracking and analysis.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
