Job Description:

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans for adults and children with diverse needs.

Your responsibilities will include conducting functional behaviour assessments, creating evidence-based, personalized support plans, and working with a varied caseload with comprehensive support.

  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments: You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of an individual's behaviour to identify the underlying causes and develop strategies to address them.
  • Creating Personalised Support Plans: Based on your assessment, you will create tailored support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Working with Varying Caseloads: You will work with a diverse range of individuals with different needs, ensuring that you provide high-quality support and care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in allied health or a related area (desired but not essential)
  • Registration as an NDIS Registered Behaviour Practitioner (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Full Australian work rights
  • A current driver's license and working vehicle
  • Police check and Working with Children check (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in supporting people with disability
