Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, a 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, and 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs. About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Theatre Booking Officer to join our friendly and hard-working team. As a key member of our theatre booking team, you will play a crucial role in managing all patient Private Elective Surgery Bookings and Theatre Lists. You will be responsible for effective and efficient patient administration activities according to hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient bookings and theatre lists efficiently and effectively
- Provide accurate and timely data entry
- Respond to patients and stakeholders in a timely, efficient, friendly, and courteous manner
- Demonstrate operational efficiency and provide high-quality customer service
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated time management, multi-tasking skills, and ability to prioritise tasks
- Sound understanding of medical terminology
- High standard of computer literacy
- Experience using WebPAS and E-Admissions & E-Referrals systems
