About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Theatre Booking Officer to join our friendly and hard-working team. As a key member of our theatre booking team, you will play a crucial role in managing all patient Private Elective Surgery Bookings and Theatre Lists. You will be responsible for effective and efficient patient administration activities according to hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient bookings and theatre lists efficiently and effectively
  • Provide accurate and timely data entry
  • Respond to patients and stakeholders in a timely, efficient, friendly, and courteous manner
  • Demonstrate operational efficiency and provide high-quality customer service
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management, multi-tasking skills, and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Sound understanding of medical terminology
  • High standard of computer literacy
  • Experience using WebPAS and E-Admissions & E-Referrals systems
