About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Leader will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents, facilitating their continued enjoyment of life within their capabilities.

This requires proactive management of resident care, commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and high standards of work ethics, while ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies.

You will maintain strong relationships with residents, families, care staff, and external health professionals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to each resident, respecting their privacy and dignity.
  • Support new graduates, oversee clinical placements, and assist RNs from overseas.
  • Develop, monitor, and implement nursing care plans for residents.
  • Assist in assessing, planning, and evaluating care for residents with complex needs.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop short- and long-term treatment plans.
  • Lead case conferences to plan person-centered care.
  • Drive clinical governance and advocate for residents and their families.
  • Participate in research and evaluation initiatives to promote clinical practice.
  • Supervise registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and care staff.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of the Home in the absence of senior staff.
About You

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • RN experience in aged care
  • At least 3 years' Post Basic or Post Graduate experience
  • Evidence of participation in Education and Clinical skills updates
  • Sound leadership capability and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and multitask
  • Maintain professionalism at all times
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite
  • Solution-focused problem-solving skills
  • Current COVID and Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
