
Outstanding Mental Health Leader

An exciting opportunity for senior allied health professionals to join our multidisciplinary team providing developmentally appropriate treatment with children and young people experiencing mental health concerns who are in out of home care.
- Provide high-level clinical leadership and exercise professional judgement in complex case management and assessment.
- Work within a trauma-informed therapy approach to ensure positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families/significant others.
- Develop and implement specialised treatment programs and provide individual therapies.
As part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality mental health services, you will be working collaboratively with other clinicians and stakeholders to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people in Tasmania.
About the RoleThis role offers the opportunity to work with a well-supported, innovative multidisciplinary team providing a range of mental health services to children and young people in out of home care.
The successful applicant will have experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, and trauma-informed therapy, as well as being able to develop and implement specialised treatment programs and provide individual therapies.
You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other clinicians and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families/significant others.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse Current.
- Working with Children Registration.
We offer a competitive salary range of $114,851 to $121,886 per annum, access to salary packaging benefits, including living expenses, meal entertainment, and other allowances, travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate, and a range of leave entitlements, including study leave and Professional Development Support.
