Job Description:

  • The Clinical Manager role entails providing leadership and management expertise to a team of professionals.
  • This position focuses on the daily delivery of high-quality care, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are met.

We seek an experienced Clinical Manager to lead our team and deliver top-notch clinical services to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management guidance to the site-based team members.
  • Evaluate and ensure that all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Services Manager and Operations Manager for Tasmania to foster innovation and quality improvement in the region.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a mental health-related degree is required (Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse) OR a Mental Health Social Worker with eligibility for related registration.
  • Prior experience leading a multidisciplinary team or extensive experience as a Senior Clinician providing clinical support to a team is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice in mental health and alcohol and drug use are crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with consumers, advocate on their behalf, and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends, and stakeholders are necessary.
