Are you an experienced mental health professional passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs?

Rural Health Tasmania are looking for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to oversee our Complex Mental Health Team. As the Team Leader, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals facing significant mental health challenges, all while leading and empowering a dedicated team of professionals.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Coordinate care for individuals with complex mental health needs, ensuring holistic, tailored support.
  • Ensure team development through ongoing training, supervision, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other services and stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Champion mental health best practices and contribute to the development of service delivery strategies.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Qualified mental health professional with proven experience in complex care settings (e.g., mental health nursing, counselling or social work).
  • Leadership experience (minimum 1 year) with a passion for supervision, mentoring, guiding, and empowering teams.
  • Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • A proactive, compassionate approach to care, with the ability to navigate complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice frameworks.
  • Must have current WWVP registration, Current Drivers License, National Police Check (current last 3 months)
