The Opportunity

An exciting new role has become available within the Mainfreight Wharf Melbourne team as a Business Development Executive. This position involves a focus on cold calling, first-time new business meetings, and overall activity levels to effectively manage and build a successful prospective pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and build a successful prospective pipeline
  • Develop customer end-to-end supply chain solutions
  • Responsibility for reporting and overseeing customer KPI's
  • Gain hands-on experience and receive support whilst learning the business from the ground up

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience or a willingness to learn
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and strengthen professional relationships quickly
  • Immaculate presentation
  • Understanding and confidence to execute consultative sales approach
