Business Development Professional

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Advisor to contribute to the growth trajectory of our national Disputes practice groups. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will work closely with Practice Group Leaders, partners, and clients to support their client and market growth initiatives and strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Business Development experience, gained in a reputable commercial law firm. Applications from experienced disputes lawyers looking to pivot their career into Business Development will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and prioritise opportunities at a practice, client, and market level.
- Work with client teams to build relationships and drive business development initiatives.
- Share insights and expertise within and across client teams and the broader Disputes practices.
- Take ownership of executing business development priorities, including leading on agreed projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with the Practice Group Leader, Partners, and Clients to provide subject matter expertise and support.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Business Development Advisers and Coordinators.
- Marketing degree or relevant business qualification.
- 4+ years of experience in Business Development, within law or professional services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to positively influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with tender processes, including drafting.
