Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation (JCAC) is a community-founded organisation that has been providing services in Tennant Creek and the Barkly region for over 40 years.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance team and oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to strategic planning.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, coupled with relevant qualifications such as CPA/CA/CFA. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar leadership role is required, along with strong skills in team training and development, cultural sensitivity, and proficiency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee finance department and manage financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain financial standards
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting
  • Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and processes
  • Lead, mentor, and support finance team members
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making
Benefits and Remuneration

The successful candidate will receive a generous salary package circa $150,000, commensurate with experience, including up to $15,900 salary sacrificing, relocation assistance of up to $10,000, 5 weeks annual leave, provided accommodation, phone and laptop, and additional benefits.
