Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering person-centred, evidence-informed mental health care to older adults. You will bring your clinical expertise and leadership skills to guide the team in providing recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care.

The successful candidate will be an experienced clinician with a passion for working with older adults and their families. They will have strong leadership and communication skills, and be able to build relationships with colleagues and clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of high-quality mental health services for older adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership to ensure high-quality mental health services for older adults.
  • Carry a clinical caseload appropriate to the needs of the service.
  • Supervise and mentor junior clinicians within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA or Social Worker registered/eligible with AASW.
  • Experience in assessing and managing mental health conditions in older adults, particularly those with cognitive impairment or dementia.
  • Ability to support and supervise junior clinicians within a multidisciplinary team.
