We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinician to provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision in the delivery of high-quality mental health services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multidisciplinary framework.

About the Role

This role provides advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and coordination in the delivery of mental health services to older people (65+ or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50+) experiencing complex mental health issues. The successful candidate will support recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care across community, residential, and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services
  • Carry a clinical caseload, appropriate to the needs of the service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes for older adults
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • Relevant qualifications as an Occupational Therapist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
