Community Support Assistant

We are seeking individuals who speak Serbian and wish to contribute to their community by assisting clients with daily tasks and transportation.

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly and disabled clients from diverse backgrounds in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
  • Transporting clients to appointments, shopping, and activity groups using your own vehicle
  • Offering companionship and emotional support

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, or Macedonian
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability, or currently studying nursing
  • Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
  • CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate, dedicated, reliable, honest, ethical, willing to learn, and able to work autonomously
