At Bupa, we have an exciting opportunity for a Performance and Reward Lead to join our Melbourne team on a permanent full-time basis.
This role will involve working across the People Team, providing reward business partnering to Strategic People Partners and People Leaders across APAC.
Key responsibilities include leading the delivery of recommendations and solutions covering specific areas of Remuneration and Benefits, including salary planning, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, benefit planning and vendor relationship management.
Additionally, you will contribute to the effective governance of the Global Job Family Framework, acting as the key liaison to the People Team on job evaluation.
Conducting job sizing activities across the business in line with Bupa's Global Job Family Framework is also a critical aspect of this role.
Other responsibilities include managing annual salary survey data contributions / reporting requirements of identified survey partners and effectively navigating these databases to deliver high quality, accurate, annual and ad-hoc external benchmarking to the business.
Providing interpretation and counsel to Strategic People Partners and People Leaders regarding Performance, Reward and Benefits policies, programs and practices is another important duty.
Leading the development and implementation of new Reward and Benefits policies, practices and programs to meet organisational and People Leader needs is a key challenge in this role.
Collaboration with the Head of Performance & Reward and the Global Performance & Reward team on all operational aspects associated with the delivery of the annual cyclical performance and remuneration review is also essential.
Mentoring, coaching and developing a small team is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Finally, managing the Compensation Partner activities of the business within Workday is a key responsibility that requires strong analytical and technical skills.
We're looking for someone with extensive experience working within Performance and Reward, particularly in project managing annual cyclical performance and remuneration reviews within large and complex organisations.
Strong analytical skills, advanced MS Excel skills and experience administering HRIS systems are essential for success in this role.
Proven systems, process and reporting capability in a matrix organisational setting, as well as stakeholder engagement and service provision skills are highly desirable.
Excellent data collection skills and proven ability to convert information and data into knowledge, and to communicate that knowledge in a meaningful and useful way are also required.
Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands in a client focussed and outcomes centred manner is crucial.
Finally, proven ability to perform and deliver often under tight time constraints is essential.
