Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated finance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills to join our team and work closely with project managers on a range of key projects varying in size.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing all financial matters for your projects, providing analysis and direction to achieve financial goals. Reporting to the project accounting manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective reporting and maintenance of finance and accounting functions pertaining to a portfolio of projects of various sizes.

We partner with major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions. Our high-performing finance team works with accountants and key project personnel to provide effective accounting processes and ensure projects that are key to Australia's renewable energy infrastructure are costed and reported effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial matters for a portfolio of projects, providing analysis and direction to achieve financial goals.
  • Partner with project managers to support financial reporting obligations and report results to senior management.
  • Support accounting processes and ensure projects are costed and reported effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce (or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with key stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing financial data to assist project costs forecasting and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Proven ability in preparation of reports, working to tight monthly deadlines, and supporting project delivery teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with accounting and project costing software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
