Project Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Project Accountant, with immediate start availability.

This position requires the management of project financials, reporting, and compliance. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track project budgets, costs, and forecasts
  • Collaborate with project managers for accurate financial tracking and reporting
  • Process billing, revenue recognition, accruals, and journal entries
  • Regularly review actuals vs budget and prepare variance analysis
  • Maintain accurate project records in SAP S/4HANA
  • Prepare month-end and project-specific financial reports
  • Support internal/external audits and ensure financial compliance
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support project delivery
Required Qualifications:
  • CPA/CA qualified or part-qualified (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA required
  • Strong knowledge of project costing, WIP, and financial reporting
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Audit Support:
  • Assist in preparation of audit documentation
  • Coordinate with auditors as needed
