Job Role: Employment Facilitator
At APM, we're committed to helping people with disabilities find employment and improve their wellbeing.
As a Disability Employment Consultant, you'll play a vital role in achieving this goal by:
- Engaging with job seekers to identify their skills and abilities for securing employment opportunities
- Delivering exceptional customer service to job seekers and employers while promoting sustainable employment outcomes
- Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through training and support services tailored to meet individual needs
- Creating and implementing joint employment plans with job seekers to support a clear pathway to employment success
- Building effective relationships with local employers and community organisations to expand employment opportunities
About You:
- You have a genuine passion for delivering great customer service and want to make a positive difference in the lives of others
- You're able to work collaboratively as part of a team and take responsibility for your actions with integrity
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building strong working relationships
- You're willing to complete a Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check as required by our organisation's policies
