As a leader, you will have experience working with people living with disabilities and share our aspiration to provide awesome participant experiences, ensuring their needs are met, their goals are considered and volunteers are engaging appropriately.
You will be an experienced facilitator, used to managing groups of people, dealing with challenging situations and displaying good decision making skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating overnight camps and day programs to the highest quality adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards.
- Facilitating activities on camps and day programs, ensuring exceptional experiences for all participants, their needs and goals are considered, and staff and volunteer leaders are engaging appropriately.
- Providing a high level of personal care of participants including, but not limited to toileting and showering.
- Providing friendly, professional and high quality customer service to stakeholders, ensuring our brand is maintained at the highest level.
- Coordinating support staff and volunteer leaders during service delivery, creating exceptional experiences through providing leadership, guidance, feedback, and support.
- Prioritising participants' safety, safeguarding, personal needs and goals when delivering all activities.
- Administering and recording medication for all participants according to requirements inc. dual signing and witnessing.
- Completion of university and other student placement booklets for volunteer leaders whilst on services.
