Project Coordinator Role

This position plays a key role in supporting project management activities across an organisation-wide portfolio.

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to project teams, ensuring that projects are well-managed and deliver meaningful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including maintaining documentation, schedules, resource tracking, and risk registers.
  • Support project managers with portfolio-level governance, reporting, and oversight, ensuring accurate project information is delivered on time.
  • Assist project managers with creating and managing project plans, steering committee packs, budget tracking, and status updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and engagement by coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on actions.
  • Organise travel, logistics, and engagement activities to support project delivery and implementation across various sites.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting updates to project dashboards, tracking benefits realisation, and refining delivery processes and tools.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, or Public Administration.
  • Formal training in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Prince2 Foundation, or PMBOK-aligned certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative project support across multiple projects of varying sizes.
  • Proficient in reporting and project tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders.
